Your unwavering commitment to the American people and steadfast leadership have once again inspired hope and optimism across the nation. We stand ready to support you as you prepare to lead our country forward.

Mr. President, I have been a staunch supporter of yours since day one. Our association was born out of a grassroots movement on May Day 2020, when hundreds of truckers gathered on Constitution Avenue to address broker price transparency and fairness in the industry. Under your instruction, your previous administration met with me on the 21st day of our protest to directly address our concerns. Thanks to your decisive actions, we saw immediate positive changes that brought much-needed relief to the trucking community, particularly around transparency and fair pricing. This support provided renewed confidence and stability for truckers across the nation.

However, challenges in the trucking industry have resurfaced in recent years. Issues such as rising operating costs, regulatory burdens, double brokering, and the lack of transparency continue to affect truckers’ livelihoods. The persistence of double brokering practices and ghost companies manipulating freight rates highlights the urgent need to revisit and enforce transparency under 49 CFR 371.3. Addressing these concerns is essential to protecting the interests of America’s truckers.

As you prepare to take office, we look forward to collaborating with your administration to ensure the concerns of America’s truckers are heard and addressed. It would be an honor to work alongside your team to create a fair and thriving environment for the industry that plays such a vital role in our nation’s economy.
